With four years of experience, Youlmin's (Cathy's) research focuses on improving the world through advancements in environmental science and genetics. Ever since she first got involved in research through her high school's research program, she has done original research plant sciences, genetics, marine biology, and environmental engineering. Her efforts have won her recognition as a National STEM Challenge Finalist and she currently works as a student researcher at the Yale STEM Cell Center. As a mentor, Youlmin offers a range of skills, including expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and project management, helping students to develop innovative solutions and communicate their findings effectively.
