With a focus on leveraging technology to address real-world problems, Sahiba Kaur is a change-maker with a passion for computer science and mathematics. Her accomplishments include being a finalist in the National STEM Challenge, a winner at the Sigma Xi Virtual Research Showcase, and a speaker at the White House - Department of Education YOU Belong in STEM Convening. Sahiba's research spans optimizing COVID testing through data science and applying deep learning techniques in astronomy, with ongoing collaboration with researchers from Northwestern’s CIERA lab. As a mentor, Sahiba supports students in problem-solving, honing technical skills, effectively communicating findings, and finding their voice as a young inventor.
