Jasmine Lima brings four years of dedicated research experience and a passion for advancing science and technology to her role as a mentor, specializing in research networking and high-societal impact projects. She has conducted groundbreaking research on T-Sound: Neutralizing Tsunamis Using Acoustic Gravity Waves, exploring how specialized underwater sound waves can mitigate the impact of tsunamis. Jasmine’s professional experience includes an internship with the Human Factors department at the Idaho National Laboratory, where she contributed as the fourth author on a scientific paper presented at a National HRA Conference. Her collaborative efforts span globally, having worked with researchers from Cardiff University, Boise State, and ISU. As a National STEM Challenge finalist and a two-time National Invention Convention finalist, Jasmine has also spoken at major conferences, showcasing her innovative work and engaging with the STEM community. Through her mentorship, Jasmine offers insights into cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective communication, aiming to inspire and guide the next generation of scientists.
